The data warehouse is then used to build the so called “Multidimensional Analytical Cubes” (OLAP) which are a kind of database that is specialized in querying and analyzing huge amount of data very quickly.

Information is extracted from these OLAP cubes and presented to the user in a very intuitive manner such as: Excel Pivot Tables or web reports similar to Pivot Tables.
